Here is a review of the Top 5 features of this product:
  • FIVE – Memory

The Averatec 7100 notebook comes with 512 MB of 333 MHz DDR memory. This memory is slower than what you will find in a lot of portable computer systems, but these systems support faster 400 MHz memory and can accommodate 2 GB of memory if you decide to expand the RAM later.

  • FOUR – Hard drive

The Averatec 7100 notebook has the 80 GB hard drive that provides ample storage space for the average mobile user. If you need more storage room, the high end 1.8 GHz Turion system in the Averatec 7100 sports a 100 GB hard drive.

  • THREE – Optical drive

All of the Averatec 7100 portable computers ship with a dual layer DVD writer. This optical drive in this machine will not only burn to traditional DVDs, but to higher capacity dual layer DVDs which will store up to 8.5 GB of data or four hours of high quality video on a single disk.

  • TWO – Excellent display

The excellent display on the Averatec 7100 notebook features a maximum of 1440 X 900 high definition resolutions. The display is great for watching DVD movies or working with two open applications at once. The extra width of the screen allows for the inclusion of a 10 key number pad next to the full sized keyboard.

  • ONE –  High End Graphics

There is no dedicated memory for the graphics inside the Averatec 7100 notebook, but it’s ATI’s Radeon xpress 200 M integrated graphics providing better performance than more basic integrated options. The Averatec 7100 line won’t be stellar gaming machines, but they will handle basic graphics tasks well.

The Averatec 7100 series computers are extremely stylish and come in an all black finish. The machine weighs just about 7.2 pounds and features a brilliant 17 inch WXGA widescreen display with the exclusive Averabrite technology. This machine also offers several new great features.
