Causes

If your computer encounters a blue screen error then the system will display a blue screen on start up. The blue screen error means that something is wrong with your system. Some of the reasons for the blue screen error are errors in the system registry or any compatibility issues. Another reason may be bad sections present in the RAM. The bad section in RAM will make the CPU stop processing which can result in blue screen error.

Tip 1

If the problem has occurred because of errors in registry then use a registry cleaner to fix the issue. The registry cleaner will get rid of the blue screen error that occurs at start up time. For cleaning the registry, you have to first download the cleaner software and run a scan for finding the error. If the problem has occurred because of the RAM, then you have to replace the RAM stick. Then check the replaced RAM stick to see if the blue screen error returns or not. If the problem persists it means the problem is not with the RAM.

Tip 2

The blue screen of death informs the user that the screen is frozen. It can happen all of a sudden. If it had occurred while doing some work then the job will be lost completely. A very simple tip to fix this is to restart your system in safe mode. If the issue is not serious a simple restart will fix the issue. Otherwise restart the computer in safe mode and uninstall newly installed software and try to log in normal mode.
