The first tab is the Applications" tab which has a list of currently running applications. In the Task Manager, you can see hidden applications that are running in the background and those programs that are running on the desktop.

At the bottom of the Task Manager window, it shows the number of process running, CPU usage and the committed memory resources. This Applications tab also has a 'New Task' button in the lower right corner.

If you choose the 'Go to Process' from the right-click menu then it will take you to the process tab in which actually the process is running.

You can see all the running processes by navigating to 'Process' tab which is next to the 'Applications' tab. This tab shows many background services. This tab also shows that how much memory and CPU time is taken by a process. This information can help you enhance your computer speed.
