iYogi Caps Off Momentous Year with 300+ Percent Growth and Rapid Resource Ramp-Up

Company Deploying 10,000 Global Tech Experts by End of This Year and Will Open First Center in Philippines for 1,000 Global Tech Experts

New York, NY, January 19, 2011: iYogi, the largest independent remote tech support company for consumers, today announced the company’s plans to set up a new delivery center in the Philippines and expand its total base of Global Tech Experts to 10,000 by the end of this year. iYogi’s unique platform-as-a-service model allows for unprecedented growth to address strong consumer demand for its tech support services. In the last calendar year, iYogi grew its revenues, number of Global Tech Experts and subscribers by more than 300 percent. 

The company’s iMantra global delivery platform has unmatched flexibility to recruit and train top talent from multiple global geographies, allowing iYogi’s Global Tech Support team to grow from 1,250 experts in December of 2009 to 5,500 in December of 2010. The company expects to nearly double that number by the end of the year to 10,000 technicians, with more than 1,000 new personnel in its planned Philippines facility.

iYogi’s customer base has exploded from just over 100,000 consumers at the end of 2009 to nearly 400,000 at the beginning of this year. And the company continued to attract top-tier technology and investment partners in 2010, capped off by a new $30 million funding round led by high-profile Sequoia Partners in December.
