Venture capital firm Canaan Partners said Wednesday it made a joint investment of $3.1 million with SVB Financial Group to fund iYogi, a computer support startup. Menlo Park-based Canaan Partners said Gurgaon-based iYogi provides live computer support on the phone and via remote access for home and small businesses. The investment from Canaan Partners and Santa Clara-based SVB Financial will be used to expand iYogi's service offerings, sales and marketing programs, and to enhance delivery operations in India. Canaan said this latest investment is part of its ongoing commitment to early-stage technology deals in India.
