Install the device driver. Click ”Start” and go to ”Run.” Enter ”regedit” and click ”OK.”

Rename DWORD ”ManualBandwidth.” Double click on the new DWORD and select Hexadecimal radio button.

Enter one of the following values that is lower than your current Internet connection speed. For connection speed 56 kbps, enter fa00 as the hexadecimal value; for 256kbps, enter 3e800 and for 300 kbps, enter 493e0. Click ”OK.”
