Frozen computer screen

If your computer suddenly stops working and your system completely hangs then the most common thing to do is restart your computer. When you restart your computer many problems will correct themselves on boot. This is just an attempt and may not necessarily solve the problem that you are facing.

Check switches and connections

Many problems are caused due to lose cable connections and switches. Make sure all the cables connected to your monitor, keyboard, CPU, mouse, or other devices are tightly connected. It is good to ensure that proper power is supplied to all these connections. More importantly, ensure that all the switches to these are kept on before using them.

Programs not responding

The Windows programs might stop responding due to several factors such a lack of system resources, bugs in the system, or conflict of software or hardware resources between two programs. To solve this, a user can generally press the CTRL+ALT+DEL keys on the keyboard to close the program through the menu or the “Task Manager”.

Computer switches off without warning

If your computer turns off without any warning then there may be several causes such as heat related issue, hardware error, Virus, etc. You will have to find out the actual cause and resolve the issues to avoid your computer from turning off without any warning.

Common errors

You might come across error messages that are similar to this message:

"C:Program Filesyourprogramprogram.exe is not a valid Win32 application".

This error is displayed if the file you are accessing is corrupt, missing, not compatible with your Windows version, or is infected with malicious content. The solution to this is to replace such corrupt files with good and updated one.
