Step 2

Right Click on the Drive:
Right click on the drive under Hard disk drives, which you supposed to have bad sectors

Note: Change ‘HKEY_CURRENT_USER to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE’ and login as administrator, if you want these changes to take place for all users at once.

Step 5

Put a Check Mark:

Put a check mark on both the options and then click on ‘Start’ button.

You have accessed My Computer of your machine and have run the Error Check utility, which will check the drive for errors.

This scans and removes all the bad sectors of your PC’s hard drive.
